When we started working with Kendra on flowers for her vow renewal event, we knew it would be special. Her and her husband didn’t have a big ceremony when they first got married, and decided it was time to celebrate after over 20 years of being married. They did it with style, elegance, and a great group of family and friends at Third Degree Glass Factory.
Kendra wanted yellow, white and green to complement her yellow, white and black color scheme for the event. She knew she wanted hydrangeas and wanted to keep the large green hydrangea leaves in her bouquet. What a great idea! And something a florist wouldn’t usually do. We had fun picking out interesting greenery to complement her main colors, and made her bouquet and the cake extra-special by using large yellow garden roses.
Celebrations can be made for anything – and this event was a perfect example of why it’s good to celebrate the accomplishment of marriage in addition to the start of it. The beautiful couple and their son were an example of a glowing and happy life, surrounded by loved ones they might not see in one room together – except that they decided to celebrate their lives with them, all this time.
